Storming back with four straight pins, the Trenton High School wrestling team defeated Hamilton, 40-28, on Monday.
In a match that started at 157 pounds, Hamilton appeared to be in good shape when it picked up 16 points from 106 through 120.
Trenton, however, then went on a pinning barrage with Jan Bassat, Andres Zuniga, Anthony Heredia and Christian Gudiel all recording falls. Zuniga and Heredia both pinned in the first period. The Tornadoes also got a pin by Dorian Harris Sutphin to start the match and decisions by Nazir Scott-Hayes at 175, David Francis at 215 and Zechariah Robeson at heavyweight.
Hamilton highlights included pins by Daniel Figueroa (165) and Anthony Rios (113).
Trenton is now 6-8 and Hamilton is 6-12.
