The Robbinsville High School wrestling team was in excellent form on Saturday in a quad meet at Northern Burlington. Although it barely lost to highly ranked Immaculata, 41-35, Robbinsville (9-6) defeated Hillsborough, 63-15, and host Northern Burlington, 49-26.
Triple winners for the Ravens were Alex Viscido, Michael Panzer, Tyler Shane, Tony Migliaccio and Anthony Inverso, Viscido had a nice win against Immaculata when he pinned former Princeton wrestler Forrest Rose.
In other action involving Mercer County teams, Notre Dame defeated Hamilton, 54-23. The big win for the Irish came from Joey Bonko, who pinned formerly undefeated Daniel Figueroa in the first period at 157 pounds.
Competing in a quad at Monroe, Hightstown lost to state power Howell, 67-9. Hopewell Valley swept a quad meet by beating Trenton, 76-12, West Windsor South, 83-0, and Ewing, 78-6.
