MANAHAWKIN — The Lawrence High boys basketball team’s attempt to win three games in four days and capture one of the better holiday tournaments in the state came up short.
Nolan Barnes scored 16 points, Brett Halfpenny added 12 and undefeated Lenape jumped on the Cardinals early and never looked back in cruising to a 65-35 victory to win the Score at the Shore championship on Tuesday afternoon at Shore Regional High.
Josh Wilson led Lawrence (4-4) with 13 points, but he was the lone player to reach double figures. Leading scorer Marvin McNeil made just one field goal and was held to three points.
The Indians (7-0) got out to a 14-5 lead and then built on the lead for the next two quarters.

MANAHAWKIN — Juan Sanchez scored 28 points, Aivaye Ingram added 24 and the Tornadoes (4-2) took third thanks to a victory over the host Rams (3-3).

ROBBINSVILLE — Jayson DiGraci scored 22 points, Dean Yellen Jr. had 11 of his 13 from the free throw line and the Knights (5-0) held the explosive Chase Martin to 15 points to best the Scotties (3-3) in the championship game.

ROBBINSVILLE — Connor Yuncza nailed a career-best seven 3-pointers as part of his 23 points and the Ravens (2-4) beat the Raiders (0-6) in the consolation game. Tyler Bunnell finished with 16 points and Liam Butler chipped in 15.
