MANAHAWKIN — The Lawrence High boys basketball team’s attempt to win three games in four days and capture one of the better holiday tournaments in the state came up short.

Nolan Barnes scored 16 points, Brett Halfpenny added 12 and undefeated Lenape jumped on the Cardinals early and never looked back in cruising to a 65-35 victory to win the Score at the Shore championship on Tuesday afternoon at Shore Regional High.

Josh Wilson led Lawrence (4-4) with 13 points, but he was the lone player to reach double figures. Leading scorer Marvin McNeil made just one field goal and was held to three points.

The Indians (7-0) got out to a 14-5 lead and then built on the lead for the next two quarters.

MANAHAWKIN — Juan Sanchez scored 28 points, Aivaye Ingram added 24 and the Tornadoes (4-2) took third thanks to a victory over the host Rams (3-3).

NEPTUNE — Tyler Pusczko knocked down four 3-pointers on his way to 29 points as the Redbirds (4-2) continued to play well by beating the Braves (3-2) in the championship game. Ryan Doran and Quiin Boani added 10 points each for Walter Kelly’s team.

ROBBINSVILLE — Jayson DiGraci scored 22 points, Dean Yellen Jr. had 11 of his 13 from the free throw line and the Knights (5-0) held the explosive Chase Martin to 15 points to best the Scotties (3-3) in the championship game.

Robbinsville 82, North Brunswick 57

ROBBINSVILLE — Connor Yuncza nailed a career-best seven 3-pointers as part of his 23 points and the Ravens (2-4) beat the Raiders (0-6) in the consolation game. Tyler Bunnell finished with 16 points and Liam Butler chipped in 15.

NEW EGYPT — Noreon Martinez netted 16 points, Nakye Bradshaw added 15 and the Hornets (2-4) beat their township rival Spartans (0-6) in the consolation game.

PRINCETON JCT. — A game-high 21 points from Andre Dutta wasn’t enough to carry the Pirates (0-8) to their first win as the unbeaten Bears (5-0) got 18 from Andrew Reim and pulled away in the second half.

PRINCETON JCT. — Erick Torres, Quincy Washington and Rowan Boyce all scored in double figures to lead the Greyhounds (4-2) past the Knights (1-6). Adi Singh led North with 15 points.

Hopewell Valley 75, Iselin Kennedy 46

SOUTH PLAINFIELD — Ty Becker scored 17 points to lead four in double figures and Matt Stein’s Bulldogs (4-1) won the consolation game over Iselin Kennedy (1-4). Chrisitan Heide added 12 points and Jude Berman and Grayson Vlasac had 11 each.

BURLINGTON — Gary Jennings tallied 18 points, Luke Novak added and the Panthers (4-1) beat the Pennsylvania school to reach the championship game against host Doane Academy.

BURLINGTON — Kameron Fields poured in 32 points, Daniel Williamson finished with 23 and the host Spartans (7-0) edged the Rams (2-5) in an up-and-down contest.  Jaden Lawrence had a team-high 23 for Hightstown, while Julian Davis and James Boswell both scored 14 each.
