NEPTUNE — The Allentown High boys basketball team is having a resurgent start to the season.
It continued at the Neptune Holiday Jubilee.
Nick Pless scored 22 points, Ryan Doran added 12 and the Redbirds shook off a slow start to rally past Union City, 67-62, on Monday afternoon.
Tyler Puszcko chipped in 11 points for the Redbirds (3-2), whose three victories before the New Year are already half the amount they won all of last season.
Fernando Badillo had a game-high 25 points for Union City (3-1).

Nottingham 77, Lakewood 46
HAMILTON — Liam Cox netted 17 points, Dante Vazquez added 12 and the Northstars (3-1) pulled away from Lakewood (0-4) to reach Wednesday’s championship game against Washington Twp.
Ravens Winter Classic
Johnson 53, Robbinsville 37
ROBBINSVILLE — Dean Yellen Jr. poured in 33 points and Johnson (4-0) rallied from a slow start to race past the Ravens (1-4) and remain undefeated. Tyler Bunnell scored 18 for Robbinsville.

PRINCETON JCT. — The Bears (4-0) got a combined 23 points form Jackson Veneziano and Andre Reim to overcome a halftime deficit to defeat the Knights (1-5) and remain unbeaten. Adi Singh had nine points to lead North.
Cougar Holiday Classic
Montgomery 70, Princeton 33
SKILLMAN — Connor Benedict scored 18 points, Penn commit Ethan Lin added 17 and the undefeated Cougars (7-0) eased past the Tigers (1-4). Michael Frenia led Princeton with 13 points.

HAMILTON — Terrance Traylor led three players in double figures with 16 points and the Blue Devils (5-0) remained unbeaten with a victory over St. Thomas Aquinas (1-4). Kristian Thomas and Jessiah Stephenson added 11 points each for Ewing.
Thrive Charter 64, Atlantic City 54
HAMILTON — Marjon Skillman recorded a 21-point, 16-rebound double-double, Sean Turner added 14 points and the Titans (4-1) handed Atlantic City (4-1) its first loss.
Ewing and Thrive played in the championship game on Monday evening at the Iron Palace.
